'Punk Strut - the Movie' Trailer

PUNK STRUT – THE MOVIE

This feature-length film, recently seen at the New York Independent Film Festival and awarded 'Best International Music Documentary', is given one Charity Screening (donating to the RNLI) before its London premiere later in October.

The film was shot in Bognor, Felpham, Arundel, and the surrounding area, and boasts appearances from a lot of local people, businesses, and landmarks, together with a stellar cast, which includes: Richard Gibson (Herr Flick in ‘Allo ‘Allo) Sylvester McCoy (former Doctor Who) Jim Carter (BBC’s Cranford) Phil Cool (BBC’s Cool it) David Bedella (Olivier Award Winner) Georgina Baillie, plus Kevin Short and His Privates, John Otway, Wild Willy Barrett, UK Subs, The Mekons, Sal Elvis Bashir, and a host of crazy bikers.

Following a band’s 30th year reunion, to celebrate their near-hit record of the 70’s, the aging gang of punks relive their youth, and in the process question the relevance of living a punk life-style today. With a great original soundtrack, and plenty of fun along the way, Kevin Short and His Privates dance the punk strut (Yes, it’s a dance too) on the streets of Bognor, before a horde of bikers ride into town to break up the party.

Don’t miss this feel-good movie; you’ll punk strut all the way home.
